Mosty medzi školou a životom – to je názov medzinárodného projektu do ktorého sa zapojila naša škola v spolupráci so Základnou školou Jungmannovy sady Mělník (Česko) a Sorbische Oberschule Ralbitz (Srbská stredná škola Ralbice, Nemecko).
Názov projektu vyjadruje prepojenie školského prostredia a reálneho života. Predstavuje prenesenie výučby do terénu a využitie vedomostí v praktickom živote. Prepojujúcim prvkom je voda, ktorá je nevyhnutnou podmienkou života na Zemi. Skúmaním vlastností vody a možnosťami jej využitia zameriavame pozornosť účastníkov projektu na globálne problémy súčasného sveta a na rozvoj zodpovednosti vo vzťahu k ochrane prírody a prírodných zdrojov.
V projekte využijeme skúsenosti partnerských škôl s vytváraním a realizáciou prírodovedných projektov. ZŠ Jungmannovy sady Mělník má skúsenosti s využívaním meracích systémov Pasco, ktoré zvyšujú zaujímavosť výučby prírodovedných predmetov. Učitelia a žiaci našej školy dosiahli medzinárodné úspechy v aplikácii robotiky a v prírodovedných projektoch. Ralbická škola realizuje projekt zameraný na vodnú ekológiu a ekológiu poľnohospodárskych pôd. Žiaci a učitelia z partnerských škôl budú spolu pravidelne komunikovať, pracovať a stretávať sa. Žiaci, ktorí prejavia hlbší záujem majú možnosť zúčastniť sa terénneho bádateľského kempu v medzinárodných tímoch. Majú jedinečnú možnosť spoznať iné krajiny, ich ľudí, vzdelávací systém, kultúru, tradície a možnosti, ktoré tieto krajiny ponúkajú.
Realizácia projektu začína 1. 12. 2018 a je financovaná z prostriedkov Európskej únie.

Výmenný pobyt žiakov v Českej republike
Prvá mobilita žiakov a učiteľov pracujúcich v projekte Erasmus+ sa uskutočnila od 12. – 18. mája v Českej republike. Po nedeľnom príchode a noci strávenej v Mělníku sme v pondelok cestovali do južných Čiech. Ubytovali sme sa v malebnom penzióne Herbertov v blízkosti mestečka Vyšší Brod, na brehu rieky Vltavy. Hneď popoludní sme navštívili vodnú elektráreň Lipno a zoznámili sme sa s jej ekologickým významom. Večer nás čakal spoločný program so zoznamovacími hrami, ktoré nám uľahčili spoznávanie sa a spoločnú prácu na projekte.
V utorok ráno sa všetci žiaci rozdelili do zmiešaných skupín a na raftoch sme začali splavovať Vltavu. Na našej trase od Vyššího Brodu po Branné sme prechádzali viacerými zaujímavými miestami, malú prestávku sme si spravili na zámku Rožmberk. Spestrením splavu boli tzv. jezy – malé vodné diela slúžiace k zdvihnutiu hladiny rieky. Aj keď sme pôvodne zamýšľanú trasu kvôli počasiu nakoniec skrátili, zážitok sa nám nezmenšil ani v najmenšom.
V stredu sme navštívili mesto Český Krumlov, kde sme absolvovali prehliadku nádherného zámku a starobylého centra, ktoré je usídlené na polostrove vytvorenom kľukatou Vltavou. Popoludní po návrate do Herbertova sme sa znovu rozdelili do zmiešaných skupín a venovali sme sa bádateľským aktivitám, ktoré boli zamerané na rôzne vlastnosti vody. Merali sme napríklad rýchlosť prietoku a teplotu Vltavy, v odobraných vzorkách sme určovali zakalenie, pH, vodivosť, obsah uhličitanov, chloridov a to všetko pomocou systému Pasco.
Vo štvrtok sme sa vybrali do prírodnej rezervácie Vrbenské rybníky, kde sme s ornitológom pozorovali vtáctvo. Na tomto území hniezdi viac než 80 druhov vtákov a oblasť sa vyznačuje bohatou a unikátnou faunou a flórou. Popoludní sme navštívili České Budějovice a jadrovú elektráreň Temelín.
Posledný deň v škole sme dokončovali naše bádateľské aktivity, žiaci si všetky poznatky a zážitky zaznamenávali do denníka. Spolu s pani učiteľkou hudobnej výchovy sme nacvičili časť hudobnej symfónie Vltava od Bedřicha Smetanu. Popoludní nás čakal záverečný kultúrny program a prezentácie žiakov so zážitkami z celotýždňového pobytu. Večer sme ukončili prehliadkou mesta Mělník. Žiaci si z pobytu odniesli mnoho zážitkov, nadviazali nové priateľstvá, zdokonalili si jazykové znalosti a prežili nezabudnuteľný týždeň.
